What are the causes of back pain?
Because our spine is made up of bones, muscles, nerves, and joints, it can sometimes be challenging to identify the precise source of discomfort. The most common causes of neck and low back discomfort are sprains, mild strains, minor injuries, pinched or irritated nerves rather than significant damage or illness. Some of the common reason for low back pain are:
Bending awkwardly or for long periods
Lifting carrying, pushing or pulling heavyweights incorrectly causing sprain, strain in back muscle or ligaments
Sitting in wrong posture in chair for long time
Twisting or over stretching of your back wrongly
Driving in a hunched position for long drive without rest
Over use of muscles, usually due to sport or repetitive movements
